Poco, a subsidiary of Chinese company Xiaomi, has already gained popularity as a smartphone brand. Of these, the Poco F series launched in 2016 and the Poco M series launched in 2020 are particularly noteworthy. The company has also launched several more phones. However, this time in 2022, not the smartphone, the brand is going to bring a cheap smartwatch with advanced features to shake the market.

Lexter Pius Vassarkar has revealed some information about the new smartwatch in a tweet. In his tweet, Tipster shared a screenshot of the listing of the Poko brand smartwatch included in the Russian certification platform, EEC. From that listing we have some information about the new smartwatch.

First of all, this smartwatch with model number Poco M2131W1 has been seen on the certification site. The name of the company that makes the smartwatch is known. For now, the smartwatch will be manufactured by 70mai Co., Ltd., Shanghai Province, China. Ltd. Xiaomi has recently added a new company to its Xiaomi IoT ecosystem, the 70mai Co. Ltd. However, the new company is not very well known as a smartwatch maker. Rather, it is known as a Dasscam manufacturer.

Although a picture of the Poco smartwatch has been published on the EEC site, no information regarding the specification of the upcoming smartwatch has been made public. However, it is certain that the company is going to enter the smartwatch market and in that case, it could be considered as the first leak regarding Poco smartwatch.

Kevin Q, the global head of Poco, said in November last year that the company would expand its ecosystem product lineup in 2022. This indicates that earbuds, wearables and power banks will soon come under Poco's IoT ecosystem. However, this time the listing of the certification site confirmed that Poco is going to bring a new smartwatch for its buyers very soon.
